Dear Parents, Guardians, Benefactors and Well Wishers,
Grace to you and peace from God our Father. A very happy Fest of Mary Help of Christians, Mary the Mother of Jesus who is very dear to us all as the mother of Jesus and help of Christians.
The Board examination results have been very good for the institution. I would like to congratulate and all the staff and students, Parents and Guardians for this wonderful achievement. The HSLC results had been excellent with 100% enrolled coming successful. We had 133 students enrolled. 129 of them were above 60% and 21 with 80% above, four students in second division! Miss Mmhono M Patton, who secured 93%, missed her top twenties by just five marks! A heart congratulation to her for being topper in the school as well as topper in the Wokha District. Class 12 too did well with 93% pass.
The two toppers of the school were Ms Mmhono for HSLC and Ms Jessica N Ezung for HSSLC. We were also blessed with subject topper for MIL (Lotha) Ms Yachumaro Z Kikon for HSLC and Ms Subnero N Ngullie for HSSLC. All of them together with their parents were felicitated in the school both by the School as well as by the Alumni on 16th May in the DBYC Hall. I express my sincere gratitude to Mr Libemo Kithan the President Alumni, Wokha and his team for the award for both the school toppers as well as the subject topper. Mr Marcus Lotha, in whose subject the two students secured the top marks was also felicitated by the School Management. A special word of thanks to Mr Ezanthung Shitiri, Managing Committee Member, for his valuable presence for the programme.
This year too has some arrivals and departures. Rev Fr Jossy Mathews, Vice Principal is being transferred as the Headmaster of Don Bosco School, Kobong in Tinsukia District of Assam. Rev Fr Kaisii Mosses who had been the Principal for the last five months is leaving us to take up Don Bosco School, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh. They will leave the institution on 28th May 2019 after a short farewell programme. I sincerely thank them for their dedication and commitment to their duties. I assure them of our humble prayers and God’s choicest blessings for their new assignments.
We shall welcome Rev Fr Emmanuel Paikada as the New Principal and Rector and Rev Fr Christopher as the Vice Principal and Counsellor in the month of June. I wish them all God’s blessings.
Everything comes from the bountiful hands of the Lord. We after having done our duties say, Lord I have done what you desired. Not my will but his be done and be given glory and honour. Let us express our sentiments of love and appreciation for the people God has given to us, for the students who had gone out happily and successfully and everything that happens in our lives.
Be assured of my prayers, God bless you all.
